Douglas, Peterson Lead Braves To GNC Golf Title
GLADSTONE---The Gladstone High School boys golf team won the Great Northern Conference championship on Thursday at the Terrace Bluff Golf Course.
The Braves won with 310 strokes, with Escanaba four strokes behind at 314.
Gladstone senior Bryce Douglas was the medalist with a 72, while Gladstone's Rudy Peterson and Escanaba's Johnny Kositzky finished tied for second with 74's.
In the team scores, Marquette was third with 342; Kingsford took fourth with a 357, and Menominee finished fifth with 486 strokes.
