Gladstone Jayvees Win First-Ever Home Game, 7-4

GLADSTONE----The Gladstone High School junior varsity baseball team played its first-ever home game Monday night, and beat the Stephenson Eagles varsity team, 7-4, in nine innings at Don Olsen Field.

The JV Braves scored seven runs early in the game to go ahead, 7-0, and then held on in the final inning as Stephenson put the tying run on base.

The Gladstone varsity team, meanwhile, won twice on Monday in Eben Junction against the Alger County A's, 14-0 and 20-0.
