Four Score In Double Figures; Esky Tops Kingsford
 ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School boys basketball team used its depth to beat the Kingsford Flivvers, 59-49, in a Great Northern Conference game Friday in Escanaba. Four players scored in double figures as the Eskymos built leads as big as 20 points.  Dan Harrington led Kingsford (1-1, 0-1) with 21 points, while Noah Voss added 12. Kingsford's last lead was at 18-16 in the second quarter. Escanaba finished the half by outscoring the Flivvers, 20-8, to lead at halftime, 36-26. The Eskymos lead, 49-31, after three quarters and Coach Tracy Hudson was able to use some of their bench players in the fourth quarter.
