NASCAR Champion Keselowski To Visit St. Ignace
 ST. IGNACE---Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski is coming to the Upper Peninsula. Keselowski…and his Number Two Miller Lite Ford Fusion "Blue Deuce" car…will be in Saint Ignace next Wednesday, May 29th, and everyone is invited to attend a public event that night. It will be held at the Bridge View Park along US-2 at 6:30 Wednesday night, and you're also invited to bring your camera for pictures. Keselowski, a Michigan native, is coming as part of the Pure Michigan campaign. Travel Michigan is the title sponsor for the NASCAR race later this summer in Brooklyn, Mich. The Mackinac Bridge will be closed briefly at about 6:20 that night as the car crosses into the Upper Peninsula. Later that night, the bridge will be lit with blue lights. The Mackinac Bridge Authority says that the event with Keselowski....and the blue lights...are being paid for with private donations. No tax money or toll revenue. |
