RAAB-ING A DUB: North Central Rolls In Opener
 POWERS---The defending state champion North Central Jets rolled to a playoff victory on Saturday, beating the Pellston Hornets, 64-14, in Powers. The Jets continued their streak of winning every single game this season (10-0) by the 35-point rule. Pellston's two touchdowns came in the fourth quarter against the NCA reserves. Senior Wyatt Raab had 132 yards rushing on six carries, three of them for touchdowns (29, 60, 17 yards). Raab also had a pick-six interception for a touchdown. Jaden Walters kicked six extra points for North Central. Luke Gorzinski, Brent LaBonte and Jake Gorzinski all threw touchdown passes. NCA hosts Crystal Falls Forest Park next Friday night. The Trojans upset Lake Linden-Hubbell in the other semifinal on Saturday, 8-0, in the Keewenaw. The NCA-Forest Park game will be broadcast live on Eagle 107.3 FM.
