WIRE TO WIRE: Choi Captures UPGA Men's Title

ESCANABA---The Copper Country's Jiesung Choi won the 2021 Upper Peninsula Men's Golf Association championship on Sunday in Escanaba. The 2020 Houghton High School graduate led all four rounds to collect the F.H. Hood Trophy. Choi is a member of the Saginaw Valley State University golf team. North Central High School's Bryson Mercier finished second, Ontonagon's Ben Strong was third. Gladstone's Terrace Bluff Country Club won the Team Trophy.
