2020 American Legion Baseball Program Cancelled
 LANSING---After conflicting reports last week from the American Legion baseball leadership, the word came Department of Michigan Chairman Barry Wood that this summer's Michigan baseball seasons have been cancelled. The Legion had a meeting via conference call last Friday, where the 2020 American Legion Convention in Kalamazoo has been cancelled. And he says after talking with the Baseball Chairman, the decision was made to NOT have a 2020 Baseball program. The season is cancelled. Teams that already were registered will be notified of the next steps. Last week, Zone Five U.P. Chairman Mike Trickey had sent an e-mail that the season was cancelled, only to have that statement, and our report, denied by another Legion official the next day.
