Iron Mountain Golds Win U.P. Junior Legion Title
 ESCANABA---The Iron Mountain Golds beat Escanaba and Marquette on Saturday to finish the U.P. Zone Five Junior American Legion Baseball tournament with a 3-1 record, good enough to win the championship trophy. Menominee, which won twice on Friday, ended up falling to four place with a pair of losses on Saturday. Escanaba beat Menominee before losing to Iron Mountain, giving the Junior Cubs a 2-2 record, good enough for third place in the event. Gladstone topped Menominee, 11-6, and had a night game against Marquette still on the schedule. Gladstone will finish as U.P. runners up with a win.
