Esky Girls Use Defense To Drop Menominee, 61-41

ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School girls basketball team turned defense into offense to build a big early lead, and the Eskymos rolled to a 61-41 Great Northern Conference victory over the Menominee Maroons Monday night in Escanaba.

The Eskymos took an 8-0 lead after two steals by Lexi Chaillier and one by Taylor Gauthier, and they never looked back from there.
