Summer Racing Season Begins At Escanaba's UPIR
ESCANABA---The racing season at the Upper Peninsula International Raceway in Escanaba begins Friday night. This is "Round One", sponsored by the Radio Results Network. The racing begins at 7:00. Tickets are $5, with childten 10 and under getting in free. Pit passes cost $25 ($20 for UPIR members). Gates open at 4:00 Friday afternoon. Then, on Saturday and Sunday, it's the Monster Trucks, Tuff Trucks and Sick Air FMX. And the Bigfoot Truck will be tearing up the track. This is the Summer Nationals an Thrill Shows. Gates open at 3:30 on Saturday and at 11 am. on Sunday. Public Meet-and-Greets are set for 5:0 Saturday and 1:00 Sunday. Shows start at 7:30 Saturday night and 3:00 Sunday afternoon.
