KINGSFORD---Marquette won the championships of the boys and girls U.P. Track and Field Finals on Saturday in Kingsford. Ishpeming won both of the D-2 titles, while Munising took the D-3 boys and Newberry won the D-3 girls championship.

Locally, the Rapid River boys were runners-up in Division Three, and Escanaba was fourth in the D-1 girls tournament. Escanaba's boys were fifth in D-1.
