The Bark River-Harris Broncos girls basketball team rallied from an eleven point deficit to beat the Forest Park Trojans, 60-55, Thursday night in Crystal Falls. The Broncos were perfect at the free throw line, making all 23 foul shots. Cassidi Stannard scored 19 points. Hailee Demers added 15 and Sierra Debelak chipped in 13. The Trojans got 18 points and 18 rebounds from Mercedes Simmons in a losing effort.
A total of 83 Northern Michigan University student-athletes were named to the 2018 fall Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Academic and all-Academic Excellence teams.
