Bay College Ladies Dominates Harper College 70-19

PALATINE, Ill.---The Bay College Norse women's basketball team scored the first 14 points of the game Friday and beat Harper College, 70-19, in Palatine, Illinois.

Bay College improved to 7-5 on the season with its third straight victory. The Norse rolled to a 21-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and led the Hawks, 29-8, at halftime.

Jordan Kraemer led the Norse with 14 points and six rebounds in 14 minutes of play. Kelsea Ackerman scored 12 points, sinking three of the five triples that she shot. Ackerman has made seven three-pointers in the last two games.

Taylor Hunter had nine points and pulled down nine rebounds. The Gladstone High School graduate made four of the five filed goal attempts she took in the first half.

Paige Welch and JuliAnn Wickman also added nine points each. And Keshia Davis had six points and had five rebounds.

The Norse outrebounded the Hawks, 49-25.

Bay College faces Milwaukee Area Technical College in Milwaukee on Saturday. Game time is 1:00 ET and it will be broadcast live on Maverick 106.3 FM.
