Girls Dodge Raindrops In Tennis Conference Meets
 The Great Northern and Mid Peninsula Conferences held their girls tennis championships on Wednesday as scattered thunderstorms rolled through the Upper Peninsula. In Escanaba, Marquette won the GNC title, with West Iron County second and Menominee third. In Iron Mountain, not all of the matches were finished, but Negaunee clinched the Mid Pen title, with Westwood due to finish second and Gladstone to take third. The MPC meet will be finished on Thursday sfternoon. |
