Esky Cubs Have Fun With Wooden Bats In SS Marie
 SAULT STE. MARIE---The Escanaba Cubs picked up a victory on Friday at the Lynn Auto Parts American Legion Baseball Tournament in Sault Ste. Marie, 11-2, over Ishpeming. Logan Lamb hit two home runs, including a grand slam that ended the game. C.J. Barron also hit a home run for the Cubs, who played the game on the Laucks Field, using wooden bats. Escanaba's second game on Friday, against Marquette, was rained out. The Cubs (7-8 overall) will play that game at 9:00 Saturday morning.
