Gladstone Volleyball Team Falls In Peshtigo
PESHTIGO, Wis.---The Gladstone High School volleyball team lost to the Peshtigo Bulldogs, 3-0, Tuesday night in Wisconsin. The scores were 25-16, 25-12, 25-17.Gladstone fell to 0-5 on the season, after also losing four matches more than a week ago at a tournament in Sault Ste. Marie. "They had a very talented middle hitter who put the ball down with ease," Braves Coach Liz Gendron said. "I thought Amber (Lenards) did a really good job going up against a talented senior hitter like that. Macy Trudeau had some nice digs against her, also." Jenna Steinhoff had six kills and Chasey Williams had eleven assists to lead Gladstone. "Overall, we just passed poorly on serve receive, Gendron said. "I'm very pleased with the way our sophomores are progressing." Gladstone has its home opener Thursday night against Stephenson.
