Esky Tennis Team Tops WIC; Braves Fall To Miners

The Escanaba High School girls tennis team stayed undefeated in dual meets Wednesday with a 7-1 win over the West Iron County Wykons in Iron River.

Meanwhile, in Negaunee, the Gladstone Braves continued their early-season struggles with a 7-1 loss to the Miners.

Escanaba is now 4-0 on the season, while Gladstone fell to 0-3.

Escanaba travels to Menominee for a match Thursday morning. Gladstone is also on the road Thursday with another trip to Marquette County, for a dual meet at Westwood.
