Gold Medal Basketball Tourney In Hermansville

The 74th annual Gold Medal Basketball Tournament is being held this weekend in the small Menominee County town of Hermansville. The tournament began Thursday night with four games, and five more games were held Friday.

The action really gets going this weekend, with more than a dozen games, all day long, both Saturday and Sunday. There are more than 80 teams competing in eight classes; a total of 72 games will be played before the tournaments end on March 25th.
 

The Stephenson Strollers have entered all 74 of the tournaments over the years.
