Escanaba Tennis Team Sweeps West Iron County
ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School boys tennis team tuned up for the U.P. Finals with an 8-0 dual meet win over West Iron County under rainy conditions on Tuesday."We played through some rain today and we had a couple of kids absent from
our lineup and guys playing in different spots and West Iron had a couple
kids absent from their lineup and had kids playing in different spots," Escanaba Tennis Coach Jim Hansen said. "Our guys battled well."
Hansen says that his team has had a good tennis season, heading into Wednesday. "We finished the year with a 9-5 dual meet record, a 3rd place finish in the Yooper Invite, a 4th place finish in the Kingsford Invite and GNC," Hansen said. The U.P.
