Escanaba Freshmen Win GNC Football Title, 20-7
ESCANABA---The Escanaba High School freshman football team won the Great Northern Conference championship Thursday with a 20-7 win over the Kingsford Flivvers under rainy conditions at the Escanaba Athletic Field. Scout Wunder (pictured above) scored all three of Escanaba's touchdowns. Escanaba finished its freshman season with a 6-3 record, with all three losses coming to junior varsity teams.
